The compensation module is included on Professional (and Enterprise) style full-suite agreements. If the menu is missing, your tenant is not entitled.

Compensation cycles organize salary reviews across the organization.

Creating a compensation cycle

  1. Navigate to Compensation Management > Cycles
  2. Click "Create Cycle"
  3. Enter cycle details:
    • Name: Descriptive name (e.g., "2025 Annual Review", "Q2 Mid-Year Adjustments")
    • Start Date: When the cycle begins
    • End Date: When the cycle closes
    • Budget Pool Amount: Total budget allocated for this cycle (optional)
    • Status: Start as "Draft" and change to "Open" when ready

Cycle Status

  • Draft: Being prepared, not yet active
  • Open: Active and accepting proposals
  • Review: Under review by HR/Finance
  • Approved: All proposals approved
  • Exported: Data exported for payroll

Managing Cycles

  • Open cycles to allow managers to create proposals
  • Close cycles when all reviews are complete
  • Track budget utilization throughout the cycle
  • Export approved compensation data

Best Practices

  • Plan cycles well in advance
  • Set clear start and end dates
  • Allocate budget pools for better control
  • Communicate cycle timelines to managers
  • Review and approve proposals before closing
