EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT Recruitment by BridgeHedge Limited | On behalf of a leading Logistics Management Institute

Ogudu, Lagos, Nigeria (Ogudu axis preferred) |

Hybrid – 3 days in-office | Full-Time

About the Opportunity

BridgeHedge Limited is recruiting on behalf of a leading professional and academic institute in the logistics management space, based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Institute is a pioneering institution shaping the future of courier, logistics, transport, and management in Africa — training world-class professionals, driving industry standards, and contributing to national economic development.

We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide high-level strategic and operational support to a member of the Institute's senior leadership. This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of a high-impact organisation doing nationally significant work.

Who We Are Looking For

This is not a role for someone seeking a quiet desk job. We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about executive support as a profession — not just as a means to an income. You are proactive, skilled, self-directed, and you go the extra mile without being asked. You anticipate needs, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Manage a demanding executive calendar — scheduling, appointments, reminders, and daily itinerary management with zero missed commitments
  • Anticipate the executive's needs proactively — preparing briefings, materials, agendas, and follow-ups ahead of time
  • Handle correspondence, calls, and communications as the first point of contact
  • Coordinate travel, off-site meetings, and external engagements, including on non-standard workdays
  • Manage personal tasks and errands with discretion and efficiency

Programme & Operations Management

  • Support the execution of institutional programmes, events, conferences, and activities
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and milestones; follow up with stakeholders to ensure completion
  • Supervise and coordinate support staff and vendors
  • Implement systems that improve operational efficiency and institutional delivery

Written Communication & Content

  • Draft and edit executive correspondence, reports, proposals, and speeches to a high standard
  • Write compelling speeches, policy papers, and institutional communications
  • Produce marketing copy, newsletters, brochures, and social media content
  • Design professional presentation slides (PowerPoint / Google Slides) for various audiences
  • Maintain a consistent, professional voice across all written outputs

Sales, Marketing & Business Development

  • Drive enrolment and membership conversations and close deals
  • Identify and follow up on partnership and business development opportunities
  • Execute marketing strategies to grow visibility and enrolment
  • Build and sustain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Earn up to 5% commission on confirmed sales outcomes

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and coordinate administrative and support staff
  • Manage cross-functional coordination across departments and external partners
  • Represent the organisation professionally at meetings and events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Management, English, or a related field
  • 2–4 years' experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or senior administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
  • Excellent writing skills — copywriting, speechwriting, proofreading, and editing
  • Proven experience in sales, client engagement, or business development
  • Experience supervising or coordinating a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management skills — able to plan, track, and deliver
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
  • Flexible and available — this role may require travel and engagements outside standard office hours
  • Must reside in or very close to Ogudu, Lagos

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary
  • Sales commission: up to 5% on confirmed deals
  • Structured training and professional development provided
  • Exposure to senior stakeholder engagements, government relations, and industry events
  • A dynamic, purpose-driven work environment that rewards initiative and excellence

Important Note

Do not apply if you are looking for a predictable, low-responsibility role. Apply if you are a skilled professional who loves the craft of executive support, takes ownership, and is ready to grow within a meaningful institution.
