The compensation module is included on Professional (and Enterprise) style full-suite agreements. If the menu is missing, your tenant is not entitled.
Compensation cycles organize salary reviews across the organization.
Creating a compensation cycle
- Navigate to Compensation Management > Cycles
- Click "Create Cycle"
- Enter cycle details:
- Name: Descriptive name (e.g., "2025 Annual Review", "Q2 Mid-Year Adjustments")
- Start Date: When the cycle begins
- End Date: When the cycle closes
- Budget Pool Amount: Total budget allocated for this cycle (optional)
- Status: Start as "Draft" and change to "Open" when ready
Cycle Status
- Draft: Being prepared, not yet active
- Open: Active and accepting proposals
- Review: Under review by HR/Finance
- Approved: All proposals approved
- Exported: Data exported for payroll
Managing Cycles
- Open cycles to allow managers to create proposals
- Close cycles when all reviews are complete
- Track budget utilization throughout the cycle
- Export approved compensation data

- Plan cycles well in advance
- Set clear start and end dates
- Allocate budget pools for better control
- Communicate cycle timelines to managers
- Review and approve proposals before closing
