Configurer les types de congés

Leave policies and types are maintained by an Administrator in Organization settings (the HR role does not have that menu).

Accessing configuration

  1. Sign in as Admin
  2. Go to Organization > Settings
  3. Open the Time-off policies tab (wording may vary slightly)
  4. View and manage leave types

Leave types Common leave types include:

  • Annual Leave: Standard vacation days
  • Sick Leave: Medical and health-related absences
  • Personal Leave: Personal time off
  • Maternity/Paternity Leave: Parental leave
  • Bereavement Leave: Time off for family loss
  • Public Holidays: Company holidays

Setting Up Leave Types

  • Add new leave types as needed
  • Configure default days allocated per year
  • Set carry-over rules (if applicable)
  • Define accrual rates (e.g., X days per month)

Managing Employee Balances

  • Set initial balances for new employees
  • Adjust balances for existing employees
  • Handle prorated balances for mid-year hires
  • Update balances when policies change

Best Practices

  • Align leave types with local labor laws and regulations
  • Clearly communicate leave policies to employees
  • Set realistic default allocations
  • Review and update policies annually
  • Ensure leave types match your company's needs
