Performance goals help employees focus on key objectives and track their progress.

Creating Goals

  1. Navigate to Development Management or My Development
  2. Click "Create Goal" or "Add Goal"
  3. Enter goal details:
    • Title: Clear, specific goal name
    • Description: Detailed explanation of what needs to be achieved
    • Target Date: Deadline for goal completion
    • Category: Type of goal (e.g., Professional Development, Project Completion, Skill Building)
    • Priority: High, Medium, or Low

Goal Management

  • Active Goals: Currently in progress
  • Completed Goals: Successfully achieved
  • Overdue Goals: Past their target date
  • Update goal status as progress is made

Tracking Progress

  • Update goal completion percentage
  • Add notes about progress or obstacles
  • Mark goals as completed when achieved
  • View goal history and achievements

Best Practices

  • Set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound)
  • Align individual goals with organizational objectives
  • Review goals regularly and update progress
  • Celebrate goal completions to maintain motivation
  • Adjust goals if circumstances change
