What is activity logging and why would I use it?

Open Develop & Perform → Activities in the sidebar. Employees describe work and hours, or use a timer. Managers see who is active. On Careersome Light that log feeds Stories so leaders get a weekly picture without chasing updates. Formal weekly timesheet submit-and-approve is not on Light.
