Manage users and invitations from Team (labels vary: Team management, Company team, My team).

Adding users

  1. Open Team from the dashboard
  2. Click Add team member
  3. Enter first name, last name, email, role (Admin, Manager, HR, Employee), job title, department, optional reporting manager
  4. Send the invitation

Roles (aligned with the live product) Every feature below also requires the module to be on for your company.

  • Admin: User administration plus Organization settings. Company-wide Job listings, onboarding, performance, engagement, time off, activities, compensation, succession, offboarding, Reports, and Organizational stories when entitled.
  • HR: Same HR operations and reporting as Admin for entitled modules, without Organization settings.
  • Manager: Dashboard, Team tools when there are direct reports (team time off, team performance, team development, team compensation, etc.), and My … personal apps. Does not use the Admin/HR Job listings sidebar entry.
  • Employee: Dashboard and My … pages only.

Performance

  • Admin / HR: Cycles, probation, PIPs, oversight, analytics, exports.
  • Manager: PIPs and goals for direct reports; team review visibility where applicable.
  • Employee: Own reviews, PIP participation, tasks.

Compensation (when enabled)

  • Admin / HR: Full cycle and band administration for the organization.
  • Manager: Proposals for direct reports; team planning views.
  • Employee: My compensation and personal read-only context.

Ongoing management

  • Edit role, department, manager, or title
  • Deactivate users who leave
  • Resend invitations

Practices

  • Keep reporting lines accurate for manager features
  • Deactivate promptly on exit
  • Match role to real job duties
