Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

  • We require an accounting professional who will manage financial operations for both CCBC Testing Laboratory and support China Mountain's accounting and compliance structure.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support in preparing budgets, variance analysis, and cost control measures
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Audit Support: Liaise with internal/external auditors and ensure proper documentation
  • Compliance and Internal Controls: Develop and enforce financial policies, SOPs, and risk controls
  • Fixed Asset Management: Track capital expenditures, depreciation, and asset lifecycle
  • Tax Planning: Ensure accurate tax computations and timely remittances (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT, etc.)
  • Project Costing & Job Order Accounting: Proper cost allocation for mining/testing projects
  • Cashflow Monitoring: Maintain optimal liquidity and funding for operations
  • Data Accuracy & Confidentiality: Strict validation and secure handling of financial data
  • Reporting to Management: Insightful performance dashboards and financial analytics
  • Regulatory Filings: Ensure adherence to federal and state financial laws and required reports
  • Contract & Billing Oversight: Proper invoicing and credit control for customer accounts
  • Documentation & Archiving: Maintain organized, audit-proof financial records

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a structured finance or accounting role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • ICAN/ACCA qualification is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle high-volume transactions and meet strict deadlines
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
