PR24 is a specialist provider of risk management solutions and security services. We are recruiting to fill the position of a Transport and Logistics Officer in Lagos.

Job Description

• The main purpose of the Transport and Logistics Officer will be to coordinate the company's transport pool, provide logistics support to internal and external stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport pool, ensure full-use rotation of vehicles, manage daily dispatch and roster of official vehicles and supervise and program maintenance;
• Oversee technical upkeep of official vehicles and purchase of spare parts;
• Register/deregister official and private vehicles, maintain documentation up-to-date, arrange insurance and technical inspection for/of all official vehicles;
• Monitor economic cost of fuel, oil and vehicles maintenance, liaise with the contractors;
• Deal with and support employees with accreditation, registration needed to legally drive on the roads
• Maintain and update logistics databases
• Manage drivers and motor-mechanic.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Good level of English and Russian both verbal and written;
• Full driving license with a clean record;
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with competing priorities;
• Good IT skills including the full MS Office and relevant software;
• Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
• Previous transport pool management experience with some knowledge of logistics;
• Previous people management experience would be helpful but not essential;
• A relevant Mechanics or Engineering qualification would be advantageous;
