Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria. We are hiring a Business Development Executive in Lagos.
Job Summary
- We are seeking to hire a motivated Business Development Executive to develop and implement growth strategies for the achievement of revenue goals.
- Candidates should have the right blend of analytical talent and business know-how.
- Successful applicants should be team players who not only understand how to identify a new market opportunity, but also know what it takes to lead a team forward and realize that opportunity.
- We’re especially looking for someone with great communication skills, as you’ll be expected to interact with executives and clients on a daily basis.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in selling ICT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with Managing Director to achieve revenue goals.
- Research the market for the identification of new business opportunities.
- Intimate prospective clients about the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with same in order to close business deals.
- Develop business proposals for new and existing customers.
- Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate high volume of prospective clients.
- Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.
- Determine cross-selling opportunities among different offices.
Education, Essential Skills and General Requirements
- B.Sc in any field.
- The ability to think logically
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solutions
- Problem solving skills
- A strong customer focus
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Skills of persuasion
- Ability to travel when necessary to meet with customers and/or stakeholders and build business relationships.
