RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and supervising projects
• Travelling regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings
• Determining and adhering to budgets and timelines.
• Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
• Developing and presenting project proposals
• Providing professional back-up to the Head Marketing Services
• Providing professional back up to the Head Production / Factory Operations
• Providing strategy that will contribute to the development of the product/services
• Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
• Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists
• Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts
• Specifying the requirements for the project.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Architecture or a related field with 2-5 years work experience.
• Previous experience as an Architect.
• Excellent knowledge of interiors and decorative ceilings
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, etc.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
• Strong creative and visualization skills.
• Willingness to intermittently work as or cover for Project Manager & Back-up to the marketing team.
