Itara, a Nigerian E-commerce and Internet consumer company, is hiring a UI/UX Designer in Lagos.

Essential responsibilities

•Continuously empathize with consumer and represent on product design.

•Develop UI and UX via the use of suitable tools, processes,and metrics.

•Responsible for building UI/UX design for a web app, mobile app, seller app, administrative app,and website.

•Rapidly iterate design prototypes and working applications.

•Collaborate with the product development team on product development and marketing andsales team to define key user personas.

•Represent the user personas across all aspects of the business and touch points, understanddynamics with stakeholders and have a general understanding of the business.

Desired skills

•A solid foundation in enterprise applications UI/UX design, best practices and tools.•Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and demonstrate practical applications.

•Experience with responsive web design and application design.

•Deep familiarity with Sketch/InVision/Craft/Flinto/FramerX.•UX/UI research and documentation.•Wireframing and UI prototyping.

•Product thinking and visual design.

•Interaction design, coding,and analytics.

•Good communication and presentation skills.

•Represent user personas across all aspects of the business and touch points, understand dynamics with stakeholders and have a general understanding of the business (Consumer empathy).What we expect

•Possess a Computer science degree or relevant experience/certification.

•Candidate must be open to learningnew techniques and teaching.

•General business development knowledge. Show familiarity with both local and global E-commerce trends.

•Familiar with search engines design.
