Seflam Sgl is a certified indegenous limited liaibility company incorporated under the laws of the federation of Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position of a Proposal Engineer in Lagos.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand their processes and develop the best solutions for their requirements
• Work with our engineers and designers to develop and quote cost effective solutions
• Recognize and understand customers needs, make suggestions for possible solutions and quickly develop budgetary numbers. Accuracy is essential
• Technology research/analysis
• Develop value-added propositions and proposal writing
• Responsible for issuing technical and commercial submittals for tenders before the closing date
• Responsible for following up open orders until delivery and invoice issuance
• Respond timely and accurately to customers' requests for information and requests for pricing
• Manage inquiry/order log sheet
• Maintain gross margin agreed on with sales account managers
• Immediately report any loss incurred after order placement by customers
• Reply to customers with and technical clarification needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 1 year proven experience as a proposal engineer
• Very good command of English and MS Office
• Able to meet fixed deadlines and manage under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to build and deliver presentations
• Strong technical writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills.
