Junior Business Analyst at NoemDek Limited
NoemDek Limited is an EPC Company incorporated in Nigeria in 2012, to provide specialized services to the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, FMCGs etc. Over the past five years, the firm and its international partners have supported clients on large infrastructure projects and after-sales services to ensure the assets are maintained effectively and a client’s operations run smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; establishing a project budget
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews as required and analyze current processes using operational metrics and reports
- Review a variety of areas including operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution and facilities
- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
- Suggest changes to the management using analysis to support recommendations.
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Admin and related courses
- Outstanding problem solving, structuring, and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively work at all levels of the organization to drive results/change; flexibility to quickly adapt to new challenges
- Proficiency in working with project teams and informal teams
- Self-direction and motivation with the ability to operate independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Ideal candidate can be a fresh from school graduate
- Minimum typing speed of 60WPM
