    Job Responsibilities:

    We are looking for an energetic and reliable individual to join our team as a Contact Center Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering calls, utilizing company policies to effectively solving customer issues, direct inquiries to the right departments and resolve complaints appropriately; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

    Our Contact Centre Associates are often the first point of contact for customers and potential customers, so we are interested in hiring individuals with a commitment to customer satisfaction and an ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

    • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
    • Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
    • Sell products and place customer orders in the computer system
    • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information and provide solutions and/or alternatives
    • Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
    • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
    • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
    • Work on shift basis to achieve call center goals
    • Frequently attend educational seminars to improve knowledge and performance level
    • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets

    Requirements:

    • • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
    • • Previous experience in a customer support role
    • • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
    • • Proficient in relevant computer applications
    • • Excellent data entry and typing skills
    • • Ability to handle stressful situation appropriately
    • • Proficient speaker of Yoruba and English
    • • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
    • • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
    • • Open availability: Monday through Sunday (6 a.m. to 12noon or 12noon to 6pm)
    • • Degree in Communications Arts or equivalent
