    The Education Partnership (TEP) Centre, an education partnership consultancy organization, is recruiting to fill the position of Programme Assistant (Research)

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    The PA will support and be partly responsible for:

    • Assist in developing accurate and efficient tests to be used in surveys that are to be carried out
    • Assist in review and drafting of test development tools with developers
    • Assist in Developing training schedule and training notes
    • Assist in organizing workshops wherein tools to be used in the development of tests are drafted
    • Working closely with international and local stakeholders (both Governmental and Nongovernmental) and local country teams to ensure initiative is delivered to schedule and within budget.
    • Working with teams to find solutions to risks and issues and reduce risk and work with stakeholders on appropriate solutions as and when required
    • Assist in Creation of work plans and timelines
    • Support data entry , processing, analysis and validation
    • Support in planning of events and conferences
    • Representing and making presentations on behalf of the organization from time to time at event

    • Vision for what a well-educated population would mean for the development potential of Nigeria with substantial working experience.
    • Organised and able to lead physical and virtual teams.
    • Has a can do attitude, and be formal.
    • Team player with strong leadership skills, well networked and able to build value adding relationships with people at all levels across the public, private and civil society sectors.
    • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
    • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team with respect for diversity.
    Experience/ Qualification
    • Degree in education or development related field from a recognised university (possession of a Master’s degree is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 2 years of cognate experience in the development sector, research, Education, policy advocacy.
    • Experience in working with international development organisations.
    • Experience of working on development and/or donor/grant funded programmes will be an added advantage.
    • Multilingual speaker desirable, especially in French.
    Others:
    • Based in Lagos and willing to travel extensively nationally and internationally
    Remuneration
    Very competitive full time package commensurate with experience and demonstrated competence
