A hairdresser is person whose job is to cut, color, and style hair. A hairdresser performs tasks such as shampooing, cutting, shaping, braiding, dyeing, perming and/or straightening of hair to create a desired look.

A hairdresser should be creative, confident, Level-headed, caring, friendly and helpful, and have the ability to work quickly and accurately with their hands. They should be physically fit and healthy, as they may stand for long periods while working.
